What the World needs Now
Four Horsemen of Truth, Trust and Love
Most of us will remember 2020 as a historic tipping point, a year in which an incredibly disruptive little virus turned the world upside down. COVID19 tested all planetary boundaries, social foundations, and their frailties: our freedoms, health, safety, community, and humanity on planet earth. We were reminded of the simplexity of the notion that the flapping wings of a monarch butterfly can cause a cyclone on the other side of the globe of metamorphic proportions. Yet, it behooves us to embrace and understand COVID19 as a helpful evolutionary messenger communicating that the web of life is intimately interconnected as one… and we must do it no harm.
Metaphorically speaking, 2020 turned the planet into a giant cocoon, seedpod, chrysalis, or cosmic egg, as it were. This was experienced as a result of and notwithstanding social distancing, confinement, curfew, face masks, travel bans, manifestations, local to global pandemonium, anxiety, fear, and death. Overnight we became more aware of our essential and often conflicting attachments to what we love most, such as: family, friends, community, health & safety and the great outdoors on the one hand, and money, financial security, and equity on the other. Around the globe we became more conscious of what constitutes well-being in our lives, communities, economies, and nations, and importantly, what does not. We also listened more to and could even hear and see Nature, now able, unlike too many COVID19 victims, to breath deeply. The natural world reciprocated gratefully by demonstrating that she can recover rather quickly when humanity’s ecological footprint has less of a knee choke-hold on her lungs. So what then is our True North direction in the years ahead? What have we learned? Will we be seeing the forest for the trees in 2021 and beyond?
The Future is NOW

Expressed is the expansion of our Universe through infinite creative human potential, possibility and love. It is an inspired, peaceful and heart-intelligent vision which can be interpreted to unleash a multitude of butterflies (initiatives) pollinating an ecosystem of authentic human relations living in harmony with each other and the natural world.
Now imagine these butterflies as being the current imaginal cells in the creative goo within a chrysalis, the lovers inside the cosmic egg, the sprouts piercing a seedpod, or the conscious financiers, whole system entrepreneurs, and their organizations passionately repurposing themselves to serve all life. Can you feel this foretells the birth, creation, promise, and lure of a rapidly expanding force for good dedicated to radically transform our systemically dysfunctional world? Did you take note of the Great Conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter on December 21, 2020 at zero degrees of Aquarius? The event is widely understood as the point in time when all things become possible and new structural foundations form.
Four Insights of Truth, Trust & Love
The four single most important insights for the immediate years ahead are:
- to listen deeply to Nature
- to be actively engaged in building authentic relations fostering regenerative sacred economies of life which are balanced and energized by reciprocity that flows in due and fair proportion
- to reciprocate the gift of life by integrating values-driven source codes of life (the heart intelligence inside) into a financial system repurposed to create a human and humane enterprise system, and
- to catalyze and support transformation of finance and entrepreneurship into an ecosystem spawning fractal, replicable portfolios of enterprises/initiatives purposed to benefit the whole of life.
Our common task is to reduce entropy (economies of death) and enable syntropy (economies of life) by flowing investment, know-how and other needed resources toward that end.
Today, less than one percent of global investments exceeding $350 trillion are committed to this task. This is a systemic financial blind spot as well as a legacy building turn-around opportunity of a life time for those for whom the bell tosses.
The disruptive process in the years ahead will often be messy. We will not be able to avoid addressing how money is created, by whom, why, and how it should be allocated to ensure desired impact. No longer can we burden future generations with tens of trillions of dollars in additional financial and ecological debt to keep belief ‘isms’ in place that benefit but a few and destroys life for the many if not all. We must track our investments (or lack thereof) in support of a widely shared and longed for intention of creating a world that works for all in harmony with the natural world. That is… if this is truly our intention.
The Emerging Field of Being and Doing
Our operating systems will have to be restructured and redesigned to be responsive to our highest intentions as ground zero for an expanding field of being and doing good. This requires us, individually and collectively, to reconstitute and align with what never changed or will: the immutable sacred geometric laws and fractal patterns mirrored in Nature and the Cosmos. They are embodied in life’s evolutionary spiral and symphony of life. When the rights of Nature and those of humans harmonize as reciprocal partners in mutually beneficial enterprise, ecocide will be condemned to the past and make way for a sovereign humanity’s true freedom, liberty, equity, and pursuit of happiness. It will also open up pathways for reciprocal partnership with Original Peoples and keepers of wisdom who remain the proven stewards of Nature and life since times memorial.
You may think: impossible, not in my life time. I say, let us help make this future a reality by 2025. Life inside the cosmic egg is energized by deep cosmic truths building collaborative trust that expands creativity, innovation, enterprise, love, and care. All we need to do is to get out of the way and be and do what we can to give back to the spiral of life, to regenerate its flourishing and abundance. By 2025 over fifty percent of the world’s population will be 25 years or less in many countries. Fifty percent of this energetic cohort will also be potential women entrepreneurs. A historic intergenerational wealth transfer of $16 trillion will be taking place within 30 years and they are already pondering how to invest their wealth wisely in their local to global village. For the next generations, liberated from and frustrated by beliefs that separate rather than unite, it is a matter of time when their sovereign power will create a more whole and peaceful world in the blink of an eye.
